The Tar River Orchestra is excited to open the 2018-19 Concert Season with our concert on October 19 at 7:30 PM at the Dunn Center. The theme of the concert is “Carnival”. Enjoy classic orchestral music by Johann Strauss and Bizet with a mix of popular tunes such as “Seventy Six Trombones”, “Brazil”, and music from the recent movie musical “The Greatest Showman.” Be dazzled by the remarkable performance of our young artist winner as he performs Weber’s Concertino for clarinet.  Complimentary popcorn and carnival themed fun is planned for intermission.
